Successful Treatment Depends on Successful Diagnosis
What are Meningiomas?
Meningiomas are tumors that arise from the covering of the brain (the meninges) and can then compress on the brain and cause symptoms. Most occur on the surface of the brain, and some occur underneath (at the Skull Base). Most meningiomas are benign tumors, but some can be more aggressive, and these are labeled atypical meningiomas or malignant meningiomas.
